  • removal of the old nail polish;
  • cuticle removal;
  • nails shaping;
  • nail polish or gel polish;
  • hand massage.

Classic (trimmed) manicure

FYNO studio offers all kinds of manicure. Classic or trimmed manicure is the most common type of manicure in Kyiv and in Ukraine. The cuticle is removed with the help of scissors and the nail fold with nippers or scissors.

Why do you need to make a manicure?

People are always paying attention to well-groomed hands despite profession or gender. That is why FYNO can make both men’s and women’s manicures in Kyiv. Manicure is great for maintaining healthy nails, cuticles, and skin. Hand and nail care performed by skilled masters provides a neat look that is difficult to achieve on your own. Manicure procedure allows you to relieve stress, relax and enjoy “time for yourself”. It is also a great way to express your personality and experiment with the shape, color, and design of your nails.

The technique of making a classic manicure

1. Shaping and making a length of nails. First of all, it is necessary to make the desired shape and length of the nail plates. The length is taken depending on your preferences and the original length of the nails. After this master uses a nail file to make a shape. The master will ask you what shape of nails you would prefer. The most popular are square and almond shapes. It’s about aesthetic preferences. But if you are really unsure of the choice you can ask a professional what shape is best for your nails.
2. Preparation of cuticles and nail folds. The cuticle is the dry skin that surrounds the nail plate. First of all, the masters lift the cuticle gently and buffing. After this step, you need to soften the cuticle and adjacent side folds. This can be done by using a remover (Cuticle softener) or dipping your hands in water for 10-15 minutes.
3. Cuticle trimming. FYNO masters prefer a dry manicure by using Remover. It prepares dry skin for easy removal in a few seconds. Needless skin is cut off with sterilized scissors or forceps (cuticle scissors).
4. Polishing. Polishing will be the last stage of your manicure, in the case of men’s manicure or if you do not cover the nail plate with varnish or gel polish. The nail surface is polished and acquires naturally beautiful shine with the help of buff.
